ARIES (21 March – 19 April)
You are filled with a new sense of purpose: you must tidy up unfinished business from last year, you think, to make room for new projects. Noble intentions — but in early March you may find yourself trapped in a situation which devours all the time and money you have, yet still needs more. The best answer, though it may hurt your pride, is to admit that you can’t resolve it, leave it where it is, and move on.
TAURUS (20 April – 20 May)
Those who go to live in a different country usually behave in one of two ways. Either they try to continue their old life, with all its habits and preferences, in a new location; or they adopt the life and the language of their new home. This second way is usually more successful. You face something similar now — but the change is from one era to another, so there can be no going back. Accept, adapt — and enjoy.
GEMINI (21 May – 20 June)
Have you over-reached yourself? Not necessarily, but what you are about to take on may well turn out to be more challenging than it first appears. It will also be deeper, in that it will reach further into the future, and have a greater influence on your long-term career path than you expected. All this is good — but it also means that it is not something to be skipped through quickly. Take it one step at a time.
CANCER (21 June – 22 July)
You are released from a situation which at the beginning had promised to take you forward, but in the end only held you back. You can now start to imagine a different future for yourself, though with typical Cancerian caution you are more likely to wait a while and think through your options, rather than let the joy of the moment launch you into something new and untried. Don’t worry, you’ll soon find your way.
LEO (23 July – 23 August)
Although you are always very supportive of your friends, and pleased when they do well, you may feel more than a tiny flash of jealousy now as someone close to you gains a prize you wanted yourself. Can you still be friends? Socially, yes; but work colleagues, probably not. In the long run, through, this little setback could be a very good thing; it will prompt you to go elsewhere, and to find something better.
VIRGO (24 August – 22 September)
In a moment of passion, you take a relationship further than you had intended. Almost immediately, you regret it — but is that the right response? After a few days, when you have had time to get the situation into a better perspective, you will realised to your surprise that this is an affair you want to continue, not run away from. Experiences like this help you push your own boundaries, and that is no bad thing.
LIBRA (23 September – 22 October)
Making a complete break with the past and then a total commitment to something new may work for some people, but you would prefer the process to be more gradual, with the past fading into history and the future approaching slowly enough for you to get used to it. What the beginning of March offers us too abrupt; wait two weeks, and a softer, more agreeable way to manage the transition will present itself.
SCORPIO (23 October – 21 November)
A relationship is a living thing, and that means it has to move and grow. Ideally, that would mean moving onwards and growing closer, but movement in any direction is better than standing still. An unexpectedly deep and revealing conversation this month contains clear hints that you need to restore lost momentum. Which way you choose to move is up to you, but it is no longer an option to keep it as it is.
SAGITTARIUS (22 November – 21 December)
Time moves at different rates: slowly when you’re bored, quickly when you’re busy. At the start of the year you thought you had plenty of time to do all that you wanted, but now you are getting strong reminders that you should have completed certain stages of your journey — and, of course, you haven’t. By the end of the year you will have caught yourself and all will end well; but you can’t afford to dawdle.
CAPRICORN (22 December – 19 January)
You are given a rare glimpse into the future — a brief moment when certain factors align, and allow you to draw a line between one thing and another, and see where a particular course of action might lead. Whehter you should go down the path you have created is a different question; it may reinforce your ambition, or it may deflect it. But knowing the outcome gives you a huge advantage over everyone else.
AQUARIUS (20 January – 19 February)
There is a right moment for everything, and too early is as problematic as too late. You have an opportunity now to try again with what you started last year, and which may not have brought the success you hoped for. Perhaps you weren’t in the right state of mind then: now you are. Perhaps external circumstacnes were against you. Now they are not. Whatever the reason, this time you will get what you want.
PISCES (20 February – 20 March)
Many times in the past you have allowed yourself to be taken along by the general flow of events and the opinions of others but now, in a rare act of honety and defiance, you decide to voice your own true feeling on an important issue, even if it means that you stand alone. You are putting yourself in a vulenerable position — yet the strength of your convictions will give you all the armoud you need. Well done.
